Fresh, clear, unscented carrier oil and wood conditioner This sweet almond oil seems to be of good quality: It has a fresh, clean smell to it–which is basically fragrance-free. And it has great clarity. This is not like the almond oil I buy to cook with. (The cooking almond oil smells like almonds.) This oil is used as a carrier oil for essential oils. A good quality essential oil is too potent to be used on the skin undiluted. You need to mix it with a carrier oil–and this is a great choice.

Very nice, high-quality base / carrier oil for essential oils … This Nature’s Truth Sweet Almond is a base, or carrier oil, for my other essential oils. If I applied some of them to the skin, I’d probably have a seriously annoying allergic reaction. A base oil like the sweet almond can be used to dilute an essential oil.
